Ben's 8th Birthday with family Part 2

So once we were done with dinner, we went home for cake and the rest of his gifts. He was very clear about what he wanted to his birthday. He asked for a Nintendo DS. We are new to all of the playing systems, so I did a little research and we waited till the new DSiXL came out and got him that one with Mario Cart. He was super excited!

Ben's 8th Birthday with family Part 1

Here we are celebrating Ben's 8th birthday with the family at Red Robin (Ben's favorite restaurant). He enjoyed his Star Wars book from Mandy & James and "guys" from Grandma. He acted nervous when they sang to him, but deep inside he really liked it :)

Playing B-Ball in the Spring

So everyone is getting Spring Fever and it is still messy out to do much else, but ride bikes and play b-ball, but the boys are really getting into it this year. As you can see I have also tried to get creative with our new camera. So that is why they are at random angles. Hope you enjoy...

Ayden Tries his Bike w/o Training Wheels

This is the summer that Ayden is going to learn how to ride without training wheels. At least we hope so. We know that he can, but we will wait and see. So far he did a good job, this is his first attempt.

St. Patrick's Day Rainbow Cupcakes

We made St. Patrick's Day Rainbow Cupcakes, we were waiting to see if there was gold at the end, but were unlucky... The boys did find out that they were very tasty and colorful!

The Boys Ice Skating Lessons

Well the boys asked to get ice skates this winter. We started off going to the local ice rink outside, which worked out well until Ayden watched local kids playing hockey and suddenly he wanted to play. I always thought that skating lessons would be super expensive, but I found some that were very reasonable. So here are the pics of them starting off. Those who know Ayden can picture him using the walker and taking a rest every once and a while...
